In-cart fitment
NewFitment data from cart to checkout to fulfillment.
The vehicle a shopper selected in search travels with them through the product page, the cart, and the checkout landing on the order so your fulfillment team can see it before they pick and pack. Ship the right part the first time.
How it works
- 1Capture at search
When a shopper picks a vehicle for search, that selection is saved in their session.
- 2Persist onto the order
The vehicle is attached as a Shopify line-item property when the item is added to cart, so it shows up in the cart, on the order summary, and on the order in your Shopify admin.
- 3Hand off to fulfillment
Your fulfillment team sees the exact vehicle on the order line item in the Shopify admin before they pick and pack.
What you can configure
- Whether the engine is included in the vehicle label that travels with the order
- The label format and which add-to-cart element the fitment field attaches to
- On the product page, whether non-fitting items are hidden, dimmed, or labeled before they reach the cart
Frequently asked questions
- Does this work with Shopify's standard checkout?
- Yes. The vehicle is attached as a standard Shopify line-item property — no checkout customization required.
- Will this work with my theme?
- Likely yes, but every stores theme can be different, so the best way to know is a quick review by us.
- Will my 3PL see it on order export?
- The selected vehicle is always visible on the order in your Shopify admin. Carrying it into an exported order file isn't automatic — Order Export sends the fields your destination's format maps, so we configure that per destination when a feed needs it.
- What if a shopper changes their mind in cart?
- They can start a new vehicle search at any time, and the new selection is used for items added to the cart after that.
