Using a Merchant of Record service effectively outsources the transaction process. Your customer purchases from us; we then pay you as the supplier, minus our fees. The entire customer experience stays branded as your company.

- We use Shopify (via Shop Pay). If any third parties are involved, we'll confirm.
- What payment methods are available?
- Credit cards are enabled by default. Additional Shopify-supported payment methods can be added.
- Will there be reports on payments made to my store?
- Yes. We provide a monthly reconciliation report that details sales, sales tax, and fees.
- Who do customers actually pay?
- Customers pay us, SPT, directly. We then remit one consolidated payment to you along with the reconciliation report. Similar to how eBay works if you sell through eBay.
- Who collects and remits payments?
- We handle collection, processing fees, and sales tax — then remit a single monthly payment to you along with a reconciliation report.
- Will customers receive an invoice for their purchase?
- Customers receive an order receipt by email from Shopify.
